Founded in 1992, Healthcare Concepts was established to provide specialized services to the healthcare industry. Through years of accumulated experience, we found that most providers had the same basic needs in sustaining the CDM. Limited sets of automated tools were being used and a number of manual processes had to take place in order to manage a CDM effectively. These manual processes possessed an inherent danger for making CDM management cumbersome and less than accurate. We knew that with our extensive knowledge of CDM management, and with the evolution of our automated tools and technology, we could provide a better solution. Developed in 1995, MedChex was designed as the first set of automated tools to enable providers the ability to efficiently assess and manage the CDM. Healthcare Concepts has used MedChex exclusively for all their engagements allowing them to provide a suite of services specializing in issues related to the CDM. These services took our client's CDM management and analysis from a strategic liability to a competitive advantage. Organizations using our services discovered that they could respond more quickly to changing healthcare regulatory environments and fiscal directives necessary to remain profitable.

MedChex was also the first tool to offer the level of sophistication and power sought after by large corporate hospital chains, Big 5 consulting firms and individual providers. Changes in reimbursement procedures have necessitated a restructuring of certain charges in the CDM. Another current trend in the industry has been to centralize the management of the CDM and standardize across multiple facilities. Many providers do not have the qualified resources to be able to adapt to these changes efficiently.
